The custom Strato coffee table has been developed to gracefully conceal a television within any space. Mounted within the lid, the television screen can be part of the space when in use and cleverly packed away when not required.
“Form follows function is a reoccurring theme in our work and this hardworking design raises the bar just that extra stretch,” says William Smart. Extrapolating the flourish of a sculpture, three offset blocks conceal the mechanics allowing the tiered design to operate like a giant laptop. Opened with the assistance of gas lifts, the base houses the soundbar, power points, connections, and a tray.
