The Stella handle is part of an accessibility range designed for Parisi. An integral part of everyday life, such items are often designed for function alone. In line with its ethos, Smart Design Studio embarked on this project to create something functional, compliant and most assuredly beautiful.
Believing that ‘form should follow function’, the handle has been stripped back to its most pure expression. Rather than concealing its detail, each element, including the solid escutcheon, has visible fixings. Moreover, the handle feels good in the hand, while the end hook assists people with restricted mobility. Constructed in brass, the handle is available in a range of finishes including satin chrome, black, white, satin gold, and graphite.
